THE ASHEVILLE COLLIDER WILL SCREEN THE AWARD WINNING FILM ABOUT NASA'S JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE FOR FREE

ASRC Federal, Asheville Museum of Science, and CASE Consultants International sponsored the screening.

ASHEVILLE, North Carolina, September 20, 2022. The Hunt For Planet B, a documentary about the construction of the world's most powerful telescope, be shown at the Asheville Collider on October 1, 2022 at 2 p.m. There is no admission fee. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is 100 times more powerful than the Hubble Space Telescope, allowing scientists to see the universe's first stars and galaxies 13 billion light years away for the first time.

The Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC Federal) is co-sponsoring the screening with the Asheville Museum of Science and CASE Consultants International, a climate sustainability and solutions firm.

ASRC Federal played an important role in the development of the James Webb Space Telescope. ASRC Federal JWST Photographer Chris Gum and ASRC Federal JWST Outreach Lead Peter Sooy will share personal stories and answer questions prior to the film's screening.
